    A friend of mine said he would never have a GPS…because he never wants a woman to ‘ever’ tell him what to do…then I said, " You forgot the cream for my coffee…and while you are up, I’d like another doughnut…"

    There can’t be that many roads through the Enchanted Forest. Can there?

    Biggest problem with GPS programs like that is that they are not always up to date.

    Trouble with a lot people is they buy crap for less, thinking they got a great deal. I will pay more for quality.

    Don’t buy electronics or power tools from Walmart. They are cheaper because suppliers cut corners so that they can be sold at a lower price.

    I had a GPS, app on my smart phone, not only direct me 12 miles away from my destination but on the wrong side of the highway I was traveling down. After that I got a Garmin, but it wasn’t nearly as accurate as my sister’s. I forget what brand it was.

    @GROG!

    I bought a printer from Walmart and it’s lasted for 3 years so far and works great.

    Good for you. I’ll still go for a quality product if there is such thing for some types of merchandise.

    As for computers, printers, cell phones etc, the technologiy is always advancing faster than the life of the product. If you’re one of those that always has to have the newest technologiy, then I’d say cheaper is better. But something tells me that you’d be paying a premium for being one of the first in line for that new technology.

    Had a GPS just recently have us turn left to go to a hotel, when we should have turned right. And the best part was that the GPS said we had reached our destination when we turned left and there was nothing there but a closed school !

    @Sisyphos

    Being the Enchanted Forest, it only has one road, but it moves about the forest.

    Most GPS are not accurate the last few hundred yards. The technology is not that good yet.

    @Nabuquduriuzhur

    Especially when they tell you to take the turn to the right and you know it’s to the left because you’ve been there before.

    Any of you Tech geniuses ever hear of Google Maps? Works for me, and I don’t have to spend a heap on a GPS I would use maybe once a year!
