    Why do some rich people buy their clothing
    and other items at garage sales?

    MARG! Wasn’t that horrible what happened to those
    firefighters near Yarnell, AZ? That isn’t to far from
    your city is it?

    @Llewellenbruce

    I didn’t hear about it, what happened? No it’s not too far away.

    I’ve never actually seen anyone sell a yard.

    I just looked it up on Google. 19 firefighters were killed, all from Prescott. How horribly sad. Half of the town is gone…

    .
    when I worked for NOAA, one of the fires I consulted on was the Stanza Fire. A group of firefighters drove right off a road about 4 in the morning. About 70 feet down. One guy made it back up to the road with a concussion and was able to go for help. 3 died, though.
    .
    One of those strange stats is that far more firefighters die from training than from fire. Heart attacks.

    According to the news, you could find something worth a million dollars…so keep checking Broomie

    I just heard about the 19 Firefighters too…that is so terrible, I just feel so bad…I heard a few years ago that a neighbor friend’s youngest boy was a Fire Jumper…so I still worry everytime there’s wild fire…

    Went by a Garage Sale on my way home from church Sunday. There were old junk and old clothes galore. No one was there. Maybe there is some hope for us and even for our little green gullible consumer!

    Somehow, depending on how you define “junk”, I’d rather see almost anyone else’s than Broomie’s.

    Only seen that once and it was just one of those fabric structures.

    I bet if one makes the yard (junk) sale circuit, you most likely will see those very items bought sold again in a couple of years. I’m not speaking from personal experience, it’s just a hunch on my part.
