   Does Gaylord get an Old Buzzard’s Pension? He certainly doesn’t work.

   But, Broomie often has money and she doesn’t work either.

   “Loan” is both a noun and a verb in modern times. Misuse of the noun as a verb has made it grammatically acceptable.

   I have had people ask me to “borrow them some money” when they were really asking me to lend them some.
