Changing somebody (or thing) that gets a smile like that from Broomie might not be a good way to start the week.

I’m groggy and my vision is a little blurry when I first wake up, too.

By the way, in the classic 1930s movie, Dr. Frankenstein’s lab assistant wasn’t named Igor.

    He was Fritz.

What does this word EGAD means, before he adresses Igor? In the last case. Shouldn’t that have been EILAS ? Someone couldn’t read the handwriting of the cartoonist?

Egad is a mild epithet. It is considered archaic and hasn’t been in common usage for decades. The comic character of Major Hoople used it regularly.

“Egad” is actually (in its origins) a euphemism for “Ye gods”, which wasn’t such a mild epithet once upon a time.
