    If you can find a bonanza in minerals you can set up drill an processing sites. maybe use Olympus Mons as sprawling military base for the Holy American Empire in the near future. Though it is majority owned by the Chinese/Japanese consortium.

    Now that they’re fracking the earth and, possibly affecting the tectonic plates that make it up, who knows how long before we have a real disaster on our hands.

    I recently read in Popular Mechanics – which is usually very evenhanded in it’s reporting, that fracking is nowhere near as bad as it is made out to be. In fact, I think they used that as an example in their bad science article recently where they cited examples of folks cherry-picking selected “facts” to prove points which were not true.
