No, according to Alien Attack, it happens in 2100.
(It was the Space 1999 episodes Breakaway and Wargames jammed together. I’m guessing they had to move the date further when it looked like we wouldn’t have a permanent base on the moon by 1999… or even now.)

Any astronomer, even an amateur like me, can tell you that a crescent moon is just the moon in one of its quarters. At least they didn’t make the artistic error of showing a star between its two points.

All of our astronaut landings were on the full moon
because its to hard to land on a crescent moon.

Charon is larger in proportion to Pluto than The Moon is to Earth. It’s the largest of Pluto’s five known moons.

Since Charon doesn’t orbit a planet, I suppose it’s disqualified from contention.

That’s the only thing I have against Neil deGrasse Tyson, is his part in getting Pluto demoted.

I always wondered why we call our Moon the “Moon”? That’s like naming your dog “Dog”. All the others have cool names. I know its called “Luna” but we never use it.

Open Notepad, hold the ALT key down, type 13, release the ALT key = ♪
    ALT 14 = ♫
Then copy-paste into your “Submit” window.
I do it this way and not directly into the Submit window because it works more reliably.
