Brewster Rockit: Space Guy! is a satirical, retro-futuristic comic strip that chronicles the (mis)adventures of the lantern-jawed, lunkheaded, and sometimes childlike Brewster Rockit, captain of the space station R.U. Sirius, and his crew of misfits. Under Brewster’s brave and eternally-optimistic leadership, Pam is the tough and pragmatic second-in-command, Cliff is the completely unqualified engineer, Dr. Mel is the scheming science officer, Agent X is the mysterious government agent who gives them their orders and hides their existence from the world, and Winky is the cute, luckless kid who manages to get hurt a lot.

Would knowing that “niburu” is the Japanese pronunciation of “nibble” make much of a difference?

The 12’th planet collision theory – ho hum. Unless it is smaller than a bread box we would have seen it by now.

The successful will die just as easily as the poor when the end comes. They’ll just be whining about the unfairness of it all more when they find out that death doesn’t have an express lane that accepts platinum cards.

But the poor get free cell phones and will get paid to sell their clunkers.

re: three steps.

unfortunately true. It’ll be even worse for the very rich, mainly because most have traditionally chosen to do evil with it.
.
James 5:
5 “Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.[a] 6 You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.”
.
All one has to do is take a look at how poorly so many farmers in Oregon, Washington, California, etc. are doing today— and think of the “let’s get free labor, and quit hiring the high school and college students” that started in the mid 1990s. God takes stealing from people seriously. They stole from the Mexican labor, and they stole from the students who used to do that as their summer work (most people I knew from agricultural regions of Oregon, for example, used to do that, until the farmers wanted work done without paying for it and started hiring under the table. This summer saw yet another dodge— sign ten laborers up under one name.) When the water started being shut off in the San Joaquin, after more than a decade of “free labor” it’s hard not to see it is God’s judgement.

By your reasoning, thieves and con men also deserve to avoid paying taxes on their ill-gotten gains.
Come to think of it, by and large they do… in fact, when these guys hold a gun to their own head, the taxpayers give them more money not to shoot themselves… Strange world we live in…

After I croak, I want to be reincarnated on another planet in another galaxy, one with a global Socialist government, a planet with a population of only 500 million, not 7 billion like this overcrowded polluted planet, a planet with no religion or other superstitions.
