And he’s already smarter than Mr. Obama’s predecessor.
(no matter who we think it really was…)

Judging by his expression, I don’t think Bucky was taking it seriously.

Sure, and Kerry was a genius, right? Despite being a failure at everything except politics, including seminary. Or a long-term stoner like Gore, who was stoned in just about every debate and speech during his campaign. The Air Force didn’t seem to think that Bush was dumb. Neither did the universities he attended.
    .
It’s an incredible triumph for the propaganda machine of the Socialist media. There were about a dozen faux-pas made by President Bush, but they were replayed again and again.
    .
Compare that with Kerry or particularly Gore, who made mistake after mistake, and most of them were reported only once each.

Meanwhile…. I see no conflict between Brewster’s and Pam’s statements in panel 3.

    They’re not incompatible.

What Bush and Bucky have in common is that mindless stare when they recieve news that their world is in danger—on 9/11/01 Bush sat there like a pole-axed cow for 7 minutes; on 12/01/12 Bucky sat there like a bucket on a coat rack for an even longer time; but in his defense he is just a bucket on a coat rack, while Bush was supposed to be the President of the United States.
p.s. Defend him all you care to, Bush was a caricature of a president; he had the leadership qualities of a burlesque clown with the wisdom of a Punch & Judy puppet. Feel free to brag about him all that you care to, but don’t be shocked when people snicker behind your back. “Socialist media.” Grow up.

    Grow up yourself.
The mainstream media was so much in Obama’s bed that it was ridiculous. They know that they no longer just report the news, they make it. They love the power they’ve gained for themselves and won’t let go of it. Look for more heavy media bias during elections from now on.

Btw, Bush had to contain his reaction since he was in front of a classroom full of kids. Gee, you seemed to have left that detail out.

And it appears that Bucky is every bit the leader that Mr. Obama is! Hard to tell the difference actually between him and Mr. O.

There are a lot of legitimate reasons to criticize Dubya (he certainly wasn’t on my list of favorite presidents), but his supposed “inaction” following the attacks isn’t one of them. What did you want him to do, immediately launch a nuclear strike at a randomly selected target? Sometimes the most sensible course of action is to take no action until you actually know something.

Yeah, that’s why the MSM gave so much credibility to the people who predicted a Romney victory or a razor’s-edge-close election (remember the speculation about how they might tie in the electoral college and throw the election into the Congress, in which case it might end up Romney and Biden?), when anybody who could actually do simple math knew Obama would win comfortably in both the popular and electoral votes.

The MSM are in the business of keeping your eyes on the ads, and they’ll say whatever they think will keep you interested. They are on no side but their own.
