Brewster Rockit is an unlikely captain. He’s woefully ill-prepared to lead ... and that’s part of his charm. Orbiting the stars in the space station R.U. Sirius, Brewster and his crew of misfits encounter a constantly challenging set of interplanetary anomalies. Brewster Rockit: Space Guy! pushes the limits of space, time and humor.

Brewster’s taking this whole “dead” thing rather lightly. Of course, for someone who’s been brain-dead for his whole life, this is not all that novel an experience.
Steve said, 18 days ago
No, no. Brewster hasn’t been brain-dead his whole life. He sacrificed his IQ on the alter of alien mind probes to save everyone else.

One of my favorite quotes from The Princess Bride:
Miracle Max (Billy Crystal) : It just so happens that your friend here is only MOSTLY dead. There’s a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there’s usually only one thing you can do.
Inigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin): What’s that?
Miracle Max: Go through his clothes and look for loose change.

I think he looks more like the character “Kanamit” in the Twilight Zone episode “To Serve Man” (played by Richard Kiel who also played “Jaws” in James Bond.)

I don’t mind the regular wink-winks to sci-fi, but are you just going to take plots wholesale? This is the “Picard’s heart fails, he goes to a white limbo where Q is waiting, shows him his past” episode of ST:TNG.

Yeh, heard of Flesh Gordon, but not Flesh Johnson!
