Brewster Rockit is an unlikely captain. He’s woefully ill-prepared to lead ... and that’s part of his charm. Orbiting the stars in the space station R.U. Sirius, Brewster and his crew of misfits encounter a constantly challenging set of interplanetary anomalies. Brewster Rockit: Space Guy! pushes the limits of space, time and humor.

Talk about attention to detail - skipping just one number could create an unintended plot twist. Or worse.

That story always crashed my system.

What’s the world coming to when a cartoonist can’t even spell “11001011010010101” correctly! And don’t ask me to translate what he actually wrote; it’s just rude.

Good thing there were no R2s there. He be doing “Bleeep, tweet, screweet…”
Hope I spelled those right.
Orgelspieler said, about 1 month ago
well, either you spelled “bleeep” right, or else you misplaced a “01001” and the nannybot got ya.

I feel bad for the little robo-tot that only understands punch cards.

There are 10 types of people in the world… those that understand binary, and those that don’t.

I have a love/hate relationship with binary.

The story’s well-told, but it only has two characters.

algurka: that’s not a word.
Did you mean to say
‘Oh, how 01100011011101010111010001100101’ ?

I can just see one of the ruder ‘tots telling Winky to 01100110 01110101 01100011 01101011 00100000 01101111 01100110 01100110.

What Winky said was bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep and bleep. But how did he survive that sock puppet looking alien hatchling from yesterday’s strip? Did it only eat his spleen which he then had replaced?

This binary does not conform to ASCII, ASCIIZ, or ASCII-extended.

I don’t get it. I used the translator, and it said it can’t be translated. What’s going on?

This is the best banter I’ve seen on a Brewster strip in a long time. Who knew ones and zeros could be so funny?
Dracip said, about 1 month ago
With the binary system, you don’t want to mix up a 0 and 1.
It’s also bad to get them out of order, 2……
jtpozenel said, about 1 month ago
Every group of 8 binary digits should represent a text character. The groups of 8 binary digits in the cartoon don’t appear to be valid combinations. Apparently that’s the reason for the big smiles and confused looks on their faces.
