Brewster Rockit is an unlikely captain. He’s woefully ill-prepared to lead ... and that’s part of his charm. Orbiting the stars in the space station R.U. Sirius, Brewster and his crew of misfits encounter a constantly challenging set of interplanetary anomalies. Brewster Rockit: Space Guy! pushes the limits of space, time and humor.

You mean squirrels tails DON’T inject dangerous venom?

I was thinking. let’s do a poll. When I read Brewster I hear in my head the following voice-overs.
Brewster-Patrick Warburton: Pam-Elaine Boosler: Professor-Christopher McCulloch(you know…Monarch): Agent-X- Samuel L. Jackson: Cliff-Kevin James; Dirk Raider-Kelsey Grammer; Winky-Miley Cyrus(hey, he is a tween wimp)
What do you hear?

Elaine Boosler! Boy, that’s a blast from the past. You’re really dating yourself, there. When I read this strip, I hear Carol Channing for all the voices.

Maybe Paula Poundstone for Pam. How ‘bout Christopher Waukin (sp) for agent X. Jo Jo, I don’t know what you’re drinkin’ in your avatar, but I want some. I’d love to see Winky
break intoa rousing “Hello Dolly”….

And the strip as a whole answers Agent X’s question…
BTW, did you notice Saturday’s strip was posted? And it is a good one. Brewster returned from cyberspace…

Same goes for Pam; threat of some tail, will get what she wants. (I can hear the boooos already)

Alright Toada is back! That was one of my favorite arcs I’ve seen since I first started reading this comic about two years back. As for today’s comic, why didn’t Toada try using the force (or whatever equivalent he uses) or one of his monologues to defend himself? (At least that’s assuming it was stolen via false threat).
Also markoteittinen nice find–it’s about time. It’s probably especially annoying for those who archive some of these comics.

It’s the other end of that squirrel that might give you trouble, Toada. :) Or were you dealing with a skunk?
I attach my own voices to the characters of a strip. Aside from my own eclectic memories of people I’ve met, there are eight archetypical voices in my head I can call on. :)

And Carol Channing is not dating oneself?
Definitely Patrick Warburton; he’s got that whole big dumb good-natured goof thing sewn up.
Will Smith for Agent X.
Actually, Elaine Boosler would not be a bad choice for Pam. What about Lily Tomlin, Sarah Silverman, or Ellen Degeneres?
Jack Black for Cliff.
Chris McCulloch would indeed be appropriate for Dr. Mel; in fact, the entire Venture Brothers cast could take over this strip.

I’ve always thought Brewster should be voiced by Patrick Warburton too. :-) Cliff? That’s gotta be John Ratzenberger, just because it’d be a good in-joke. Dr. Mel [and perhaps Winky too]? Billy West, but only if he can keep ‘em from sounding TOO much like Fry and Prof. Farnsworth. {evil grin} Pamela? Grey DeLisle.
Wouldn’t it be just about forty kinds of awesome if they brought Brewster to TV?
