Brewster Rockit is an unlikely captain. He’s woefully ill-prepared to lead ... and that’s part of his charm. Orbiting the stars in the space station R.U. Sirius, Brewster and his crew of misfits encounter a constantly challenging set of interplanetary anomalies. Brewster Rockit: Space Guy! pushes the limits of space, time and humor.

And it would be easier to believe in your advancement as a species if you didn’t stoop to drinking Diet Pepsi, too. :)

If Terra was a show it would be produced by Mack Sennett.

The human race = A continuous blooper reel.

Hey, an observer’s got to eat! Is their only one observer?
If that’s so, he’s got to miss something going on in the universe. Where does he store his information? Does he have a laptop or something? Dude should work on his posture. After an eon or two he’s gonna have back problems.
Man, I could go for some pop corn about now..
bpshand said, 5 months ago
Laptop?! You see that watermelon head he’s got?
But his posture, yeah! If the crew could just find his mother.

And I guess the Observers don’t mind watching reruns – which is what I’ve felt like ever since Battlestar Galactica told us we repeat everything every 150,000 years!

doesn’t this dude look like the “to serve man’ twilight zone’ episode from the sixties??
PappyFiddle said, 5 months ago
As in Twilight Zone,
The Observers have a book.
It’s called “To Grok Man”.
If you remember from Stranger in a Strange Land, grok means ‘drink’. Just look at the size of that soda! Winky, zat you?
The popcorn might be the process result from some airhead. Brew, zat you?
Trebor39 said, 5 months ago
I wonder if he paid movie theater prices for that drink and popcorn?

Considering the size of that Big Gulp, he won’t be able to observe much longer before taking a break.

Is this discontinued, too? I do not see the Brewster strip for 6/1209 anywhere!

freewaydog - It’s in my newspaper, my guess is a Gocomics glitch.

So tell us what happens next!
Dracip said, 5 months ago
For the record, “To grok” means to fully comprehend something, to understand it at a deeper and more complete
way than is capable by humans. Dang, now I want to read Stranger in a Strange Land again. So anyway, when do you suppose we’ll get to see today’s cartoon?
bpshand said, 5 months ago
True enough Dracip. You’re both right.
From wikipedia:
“According to the book, drinking is a central focus on Mars where water is scarce. Martians use the merging of their bodies with water as a simple example or symbol of how two entities can combine to create a new reality greater than the sum of its parts. The water becomes part of the drinker, and the drinker part of the water. Both grok each other”
I guess if you drink soda it’s groke.
Dracip said, 5 months ago
bpshand, thanks for the clarification. And I love groke!
grepsi’s way too, sweet….
