I bet that he’s about ready for a new one soon.

Maybe it’s Dr. Mel’s time machine that needs a new remote.

I wonder if Winky is in the new “Star Trek” movie.

Maybe Dr. Mel’s machine actually sends Winky to other comic strips. Yesterday’s could have been B.C., while today’s looks like Prince Valiant.

I wonder if Winky’s spleen is in the new Star Trek movie?

Trival Question: How soon after starting this strip did Winky first lose his spleen? (Anwser tomorrow).

Winky’s so game, he just goes along with whatever’s happening wherever he is! Looks like that spleen must be functioning ok for now.

So Dr. Mel really did send Winky out on a crusade.

    The middle ages.
    ——-
Where a young lad can be impaled, skewered, stabbed, blunted by a catapult, have hot oil poured over him at the castle gates then if he survives take treasure from the dead bodies.
    ———-
Winky should have a good time and feel right at home. His treatment on the RU Serious has been pretty Mid Evil. He can take a little revenge on the time line.

Hey Spleen, I would never have thought of that answer!

I’m glad to see the Spleen hasn’t been destroyed in this day’s strip. Sometimes it’s just more funny to see him in a stressful situation.

Congrats, Mr. Rickard. This is one of the funniest strips I’ve ever seen, in the top ten for certain. The depiction of Winky in the monitor, brandishing period weapons with all those warriors, for such a silly cause, is so charming it’s priceless.

    And my poem:

    Winky Winky he’s our man
If he can’t do it, no one can
If he can’t do it… oh, yeah, right
He probably can’t, he’s not very bright.

Throw some blue paint on his face and have him yell FREEDOM. Today Winky becomes a man.
