Brewster Rockit is an unlikely captain. He’s woefully ill-prepared to lead ... and that’s part of his charm. Orbiting the stars in the space station R.U. Sirius, Brewster and his crew of misfits encounter a constantly challenging set of interplanetary anomalies. Brewster Rockit: Space Guy! pushes the limits of space, time and humor.

Wow, I didn’t realize that just selling bicycles would generate energy!

Rickard might extract himself from the shame of misspelling “pedal” by using “peddle” and “pedal” in a pun in the same strip. I don’t have one in mind, but Jef Mallett of Frazz might think of one.

Pedal is the noun - peddle is the verb

Check your dictionary. Peddle is a verb that means to sell. It has nothing to do with pedal, which is both a noun and verb.

Rickard, how will you live this down?

It’s not necessarily an error. If you had bikes hooked up to a planet’s generators, you’d need a genius or two to peddle them to the masses.
So there.
