    Watt the heck, it’s too Faraday to be cooped up in the lab. I Gauss a guy should live life to the Max – well? Wouldn’t Hertz to hit a few, then go Ohm. There’s Ampere time to pursue your work Fourier tomorrow.

    I would like to see the readership demographic report our beloved authors looked at when deciding on their new direction a few months ago. :-) I am guessing it indicated Baby Boomers with post-graduate educations and Trivial Pursuit trophies.

    In real life the Cubs had a second baseman named Ken Hubbs who was killed in a plane crash in 1964. He was rookie of the year in 1962 or 63 I believe.

    @Bob

    I just read in the news a couple weeks ago that the woman who shot the Cubs player who inspired the book/movie the Natural had died…Apparently she was a fanatic for this player in her teens and when he was traded to Philly …she decided she had to kill him…so the next time he was in town to play in Chicago she lured him up to a hotel room to “talk” and she shot him…he survived, she did some prison time, and she lived out her days as a recluse until her death.

    Did Hobbs choose basball over basketball because he was only fahrenheit?
