Well, I always thought the Mayflower landed in November….

But there were several other ships named “the Mayflower,” so this might not be that one…

Or…. if this is “our” Pilgrim forebears at the door,
(not mine biologically, to be sure)
out of place and out of time….

they were probably brought here by the Mayflower Moving Company.

‘Just hold it a minute there, pilgrim!’ as the Duke would say.

“say”, not “sayest”. The “est” goeth only with “thou” not “they”. Where did Mr. Thomson learn his grammar? (Probably from his grandpa.)

Back to new 2013 Dan Thompson signed new strips after a week of 2009 Guy/Rodd reruns.

It didn’t sound quite right, probably due to fading familiarity with King James BIble. But confirmed with good-old google search.

Appreciate the English lesson. I learned the ‘eth’ addition on words from Three Stooges films.
