You’re a jerk. I am 65 years of age, an ex-musician, and I pride myself on a vast knowledge of music. Not just popular music, like most posters on these pages, but music of all genres and eras. Some here can attest to that.
But even though I know the band Oasis (although I have very little knowledge of them or their music outside of “The Manchester Sound”) I did not understand this comic until it was explained (Thank you, Bruno) and I certainly do not know who Bonehead is or was.
@margueritem has posted on these pages nearly every single day for the past five or more years. She is well traveled and she has displayed knowledge of things outside of her own backyard on numerous occasions.

I’m pretty sure Prof danglais is a born again commenter, as in was banned and came back with a new name. I can’t remember what her other name was, but Number 6 will. If we flag her, she’ll go away again.
I would assume that “??” means “I don’t understand and would like further enlightenment.” One should be able to say that without fear of being taken to the woodshed.
Now, now. I’ve found throughout life that the more I learn, the more there is to know. Then I learn. Just because someone doesn’t know certain facts that you do, don’t put them down – enlighten them, gently. A question mark is better than denying their ignorance and plowing on regardless.
Brevity is not only the soul of wit, it's also not your normal comics fare. In the hands of Dan, it is sharply intelligent, amusingly idiosyncratic and often uproariously funny.
