I didn’t recognize it either. I was going to suggest “off the grid”. Urban Dictionary says “off the chain” means “Out of control, wild fun. Just like when your pitbull gets off the chain in the back yard and tears through the neighborhood.”
@kevin78661 what we have here is a failure to communicate — no one is being ‘dumb’ — we are just having fun playing with words — and pictures. It is a comic strip, after all. We are supposed to have fun with it. I look forward to reading people’s comments every day, marveling at what everyone sees and often wishing I lived in a better time zone (or could be up and alert much earlier). It is such a downer reading your comments that I’m not going to read them anymore.
