Brevity is not only the soul of wit, it's also not your normal comics fare. In the hands of Dan, it is sharply intelligent, amusingly idiosyncratic and often uproariously funny.

Eddie Van too-much-in-Halen.
From electric rockers to electric walkers…. but somehow all these old guitar heroes are still standing.

Yah yeah…. it was David Lee Roth….
but since he wouldn’t be standing under a VH logo these days, I’m thinkin’ this must be Eddie.
It’s a miracle it’s any of them.

What else can these dudes do ?? Can you picture Ozzie or Steven Tyler driving a truck ??

@ Clucky: ‘Money for nothing and your chicks for free?’!
We’ll see if the postponed concerts resume. Both EVH & DLR say they get along just fine these days.

Susan,
DLR is back with VH. They just released an album last month or so. Still wouldn’t want to see him do any high leg kicks.
Wasn’t Eddie the one that had the hip problems?
Zac Rutter said, 11 months ago
Susan, Eddie’s also a well-documented raging alcoholic. I don’t think inhalin’ was the problem.

Honestly? I couldn’t see Ozzie driving ANYthing. He gets lost walking through his house. Granted, it’s probably because he forgot where he was headed . . .
But seriously, all these guys really do need to stop touring while people can still remember them as being among the greats, not as “those old geezers up on stage trying to act like they still got it”!

Time for them to hit the rockers.

It all depends on the person. Ringo Starr is 72 and still the coolest dude on Earth. His shows are just as good as ever. (I know this comment is not funny—but it is true.)

So, from Rocker to rocker.

Right, Konrad. And check out Robert Plant—he’s still making new, vital, music. But there are so many revisiting past glory….
