    There’s more to it than that. Notice that the high-value letters are on one side of the tracks, and the single-point letters are all on the other. Plus, the neighborhoods match the letter types.

    The ‘wrong’ side of the tracks – OK. And since nothing can be done with out the vowels the ‘rich need the poor’.

    Another superior gag; this comic rarely fails to bring VERY funny cerebral humor to my newspaper (in this case, my computer — get WITH it, Seattle Times!). And yet I’m sure a great many folks walked away shaking their heads…
