June Brigman and Mary Schmich’s classic soap-opera strip was a pioneer: a comic featuring a strong female lead character. Brenda Starr’s adventures, if not a realistic portrayal of a reporter’s life, have nevertheless captured the imagination of millions of readers.

Boy, do we save money on drawing the panels. Panel #3 has been used more times. Must be paying the artist by piece work.

Ganaesh is living the good life. The house by appearance looks better then ours here. Caressa mom is certainly living the life.

Forget below the ribs Jo Jo, aim for below the belt buckle.

So, Caressa thinks Brenda Starr is a computer program or a website that can be deleted?
Salman will probably save Brenda; but, whom is going to save Caressa and Ganesh from Taj and Raj?

It’s usually about this time that the whole plot is explained, which usually takes about a week, then the bad guys’ wicked scheme is spoiled by the heroes, then the guy gets the girl at the end
…….uhhhhh, the only thing I see NOT happening in this case is Salman & Brenda hooking up. I think we all know Brenda will go down the whole “we’re from different worlds & there is no future for us” road

I wonder if Salman and Caressa are lovers.
Anyway, Monday strips are esswntially replays of Sunday’s.

Maybe Salman is some “undercover good guy,” from the beginning on to something and deliberately being rude to Brenda to keep her out of the way (both for her own good and as not to blow his cover).
