June Brigman and Mary Schmich’s classic soap-opera strip was a pioneer: a comic featuring a strong female lead character. Brenda Starr’s adventures, if not a realistic portrayal of a reporter’s life, have nevertheless captured the imagination of millions of readers.

Have you noticed that all of this has taken place in one day? Where did Raj get the new clean clothes? I thought he was wearing rags when Brenda brought him home. Does she keep extras on hand for when she brings strange men home?

Who wants to bet that Pug turns out to be Carina?
Jogger2 said, about 1 month ago
Pug is Carina? Impossible: Carina showed Brenda how to get to the Times, then hung around there until Pug asked her to leave. (“Shoo”) So, they were seen in the same room at the same time.
Anyway, there is a big difference in physical size. No way you could make an adult like Pug get to the size of a kid like Carina.

Pug doesn’t share the apartment with another man for the clothes? The male reported I don’t remember too many strips ago if he lives there.
But isn’t BS suppose to be mysterious reporter.

Pug lives alone, The male reporter you are talking about lives with his mother.

woodworker 318 when reading a comic strip you must suspend belief in other words don’t be so picky

Men can never seem to settle disputes without using their fists or other forms of violence.
No wonder they f**d up the world since the beginning of time!

The pace is pretty amazing. They drag you along for weeks and then rapid succession to draw you back into the storyline and then once again drag it out. Pretty cunning.
