June Brigman and Mary Schmich’s classic soap-opera strip was a pioneer: a comic featuring a strong female lead character. Brenda Starr’s adventures, if not a realistic portrayal of a reporter’s life, have nevertheless captured the imagination of millions of readers.

Will we see where he goes on Sunday?

Aha, the plot sickens, er, thickens.
Apparently Taj seduced Caressa. Maybe he’s the urchin’s real father.
If so, that could explain Raj’s lack of “fatherly” affection for her. Poor kid is just being used.
I’m looking forward to seeing who Ganesh’s partner is.

Well, well well. Now we are getting somewhere. Ganesh is burning his candles from both ends and will end up trapped in the middle as he seems to have set himself up.

“WOW” These brothers are civilized. All they are doing is calling each other names instead of punching each other out.

I’d be really surprised if Pug turned out to be villainous, and I don’t think anyone new would be introduced this late in the game. So it’s go to be Salman.
No, wait, it’s Amma.
No, no, the beggar dude. Pulling the strings from his lowly, nondescript perch on the street.
No, wait, I got it; it’s Carina; she’s not actually a child, she’s really a 33 year old dwarf like that girl in “The Orphan.”

Ganesh is Caressa’s father or uncle or other relation, and they are plotting together to take both brothers down!

I think you’ve got it. Sounds good to me.

Susan001 Good thinking. That would explain Raj’s attitude towards his ‘daughter’.
