June Brigman and Mary Schmich’s classic soap-opera strip was a pioneer: a comic featuring a strong female lead character. Brenda Starr’s adventures, if not a realistic portrayal of a reporter’s life, have nevertheless captured the imagination of millions of readers.

Taj – a self made man – but how did he do it; could it be he is not the villian in this adventure?

We’ll find out. One of books I read in the past from aurthur Barbara Taylor Bradford called Woman of Substance. Does depicte a child growing up and because a wealthy woman by working hard. There are 7 big books based on this Woman of Substance book. All are connected.

Salman is his brother, and the two have become sworn enemies whom Brenda will bring together.
Or not.

Pug is Taj’s sister in law (or at least his brother’s love) and he blames her for his brother’s death. Pug is trying to get her daughter back from him.

I am not happy about NO Sunday CARTOON.
dagace said, 3 months ago
I highly doubt that Pug has a daughter (= urchin girl?) … interesting theory about the ‘brother’ … yeah, I’d like to see the Sunday cartoon as well. How come this strip has these problems on a regular basis whereas the others don’t! I hope the technical staff read these posts, ggrrrrrr …

Thanks for the Comic Strip Nation link - it is a great site - has some other favorite comics listed there too.
Are they fairly regular with getting everything posted?

I miss Sunday also.

In Sundays strip I noticed that Brenda’s top has a back and sleeve in one panel and none in another. Can’t the “artist” see this when he is drawing this or does he care?
