June Brigman and Mary Schmich’s classic soap-opera strip was a pioneer: a comic featuring a strong female lead character. Brenda Starr’s adventures, if not a realistic portrayal of a reporter’s life, have nevertheless captured the imagination of millions of readers.

Can this man actually be Brendas’ intellectual twin?

He has a superficial resemblance to Ringo, of the last story.

I don’t think you can call Brenda a cougar, this dude does not look that young. He does not have the right kind of nose to resemble Ringo.
Who would have thought he would have traveled over to Brenda. Imagine that.

I am going to gag.
Guys should not read this comic. I knew that when I started.

A few minutes ago, Taj said Lakshmi was the most beautiful woman in the room, within earshot of Brenda. Brenda also saw Taj and “Jeff” talking together, so she knows they know each other.

All she’s reeled in so far are some pretty cheesy lines.

Plastic surgery has nothing to do with it! Comic strip people NEVER age! Look at Dick Tracy who started in 1931. And Dagwood and Blondie! In fact, Blondie was a flapper in the 1920’s. That would make her in her 90’s at least.
