June Brigman and Mary Schmich’s classic soap-opera strip was a pioneer: a comic featuring a strong female lead character. Brenda Starr’s adventures, if not a realistic portrayal of a reporter’s life, have nevertheless captured the imagination of millions of readers.

Brenda Starr is a daily, not a weekly. Give me the weekday panels.

I’m getting nervous here. Did Brenda get lost in the desert without any means to file her story? Or did June Brigman or Mary Schmich (whichever artist is accompanying Brenda) lose her pencils or art paper?

All is explained over on the Pibgorn page. Something about an unhappy power outage affecting Gocomics’ servers, essentially scrambling their system’s brains. SEVERAL comics were/are late getting posted.
