The previews are often cut to make the movie look a lot better than it actually is, anyway.

When shown previews of a comedy, realize you are being shown their funniest stuff. If your aren’t laughing at their best scenes, you can figure it’s gonna suck.

Sometimes the previews are the best part of the movie (if the movie you went to is horrible)

Kind of like commercials on TV. So many of them that the commercials take more time than the show.

I usually judge a movie by it’s previews (or trailers, as they’re also called) They usually pick the best scenes for the previews. If I’m not entertained by the preview, I know the movie is lousy. If I’m entertained by the previews, the movie might be worth watching. I stopped trusting movie critics a long time ago. Most of them are too jaded to give reliable reviews.

I never worry I’ll be late for a movie anymore. If a movie is scheduled for 9pm, I can get there at 9:15 and it’s no big deal, I won’t have missed anything but the commercials!
