Where’s the challenge? The cases are as easy as black and white: Missing Penguins: Blame it on the Killer Whale Gang. Or Leopard seal assassins. No remaining evidence. Not much penguin-on-penguin crime, most likely.

I’m reading The Great Alone: Janet Dailey’s epic novel on the history of Alaska. The soldiers in the book are going through the same thing-frostbitten in the bitter cold.
