   It isn’t supposed to make sense, it is ‘art’. Not art, but ‘art’. There is a difference.

   I remember hearing a taped interview with Salvador Dali on the BBC…he said that he’d be willing to throw himself down a flight of stairs headfirst if that meant attracting media attention. And they call it “art.”

    I have a painting like that. Hung landscape, it’s a multicolored sunset with soaring birds in silhouette. Hung portrait, it’s a nude standing by a bathtub with one foot on the edge, drying her thigh with a towel. We hang it portrait….
