   In Search of the Far Side, page 84. Also The Far Side Gallery, page 157. Scott Hilburn has unintentionally created near-copies of Larson cartoons on The Argyle Sweater, too. Sometimes the mind doesn’t make it clear which ideas are coming from ‘memory’ and which are coming from ‘creativity.’ When you’re playing with a chemistry set so similar to Larson’s, this is the kind of thing that happens.

   But while I’m here, I’d better mention that I really like Hafeez’s stuff so far. Great cartooning style and with the exception of this one, the gags really have been falling somewhere between Larson and the New Yorker. Good stuff.
