If a Far Side panel and a New Yorker cartoon were to mate and conceive a child, Bozo might be it. Whether creating a crop circle with a lawnmower or planting Heather in the garden, Bozo’s diverse cast of buffoons make complete blockheads of themselves in as many boneheaded ways as Bozo’s creator can think of. Following hours of painstaking drawing and erasing, followed by hours of painstaking pointing and clicking, Bozo is saved and uploaded to uclick’s servers where it appears on the Gocomics website each week.
Bozo cartoons are available on mugs, T-shirts, greeting cards and more! To visit the Bozo Online Store, click here.© 2009 Kaamran Hafeez - All Rights Reserved.

This stuff needs to go on a political site or editorial page.
I really want to see cartoons not politcal statements.
But since you’re at it…Father Time should also be carring Blago and Madoff

Any cartoonist at any time is free to comment on political or social issues. Comics have grown up a lot over the last several decades. They’re not all Family Circus and Blondie anymore. There are still some people locally who think Doonesbury should be carried on the editorial page. I could not disagree more. A good cartoonist looks at the world that is and reflects it back at us in a funhouse mirror.

Good cartoon, good discussion.
Not light-hearted humour, but
obviously has stimulated some thoughtful comments.

Way to settem straight doc! I think every comic on this site has made a political joke or two, on occasion. And is that a reason to start categorizing them like comicsDOTcom used to? I guess some people just look for any excuse to bytch and moan. I like this comic too, it’s made me laugh a few times since it started here just over a week ago.

I didn’t say a cartoonist shouldn’t comment on political persepctives. I’m saying do it all you want but do it in a section where it belongs. that’s why even gocomics.com as well as the newspapers have a DIFFERENT section for political commentary. I’m sure if you were going to the political cartoon section and had to endure Blondie, you be miffed. You said as much. In saying that, you are inasmuch admitting there are proper places for both funnies AND political cartoons. Political cartoons to their own section. Funnies to their section.
So, put your PC hoopla back in your pocket and stay off other people’s toes.

Hugh - You said it for me. I don’t like to waste much time with the EO (easily offended) crowd, who label anything they do not agree with as PC. If I were Politically Correct, I wouldn’t make half the comments I do on this site.

Yeah, you’re not PC. Riiiiiight.

I’m posting opinions on an internet message board with a computer. My calendar says it’s 2009. Why am I exchanging opinions here with someone who still thinks it’s 1959?
