Does VW still make those Beetles?

They seem to have resurrected the Beetle in Brazil, calling it the Novo Fusca. Go to the following page and use Google translate: http://quatrorodas.abril.com.br/noticias/fabricantes/vw-exibe-novo-fusca-sao-paulo-703122.shtml

VW brought back the Beetle in the US quite a few years ago. They had some cute billboards, too. My favorites: “0 to 60? Yes.” and “Comes with all the extras. Like heat.”

I understand one of the extras is billed as a flower holder, for the ladies. Can also double as a cup holder, I suppose. My favorite fehicle was the Volkswagon Thing. Only lasted a year or two.
