   I guess Dana–a vegetarian–didn’t know that whole squid are rarely baked. Sauteed or fried are more common. Or poached and then marinated to be served as cold antipasto.

   Earlier this month, a boat load of “sport” fishermen pulled up 210 Giant Humboldt squid at 45 to 60 pounds EACH off the So Cal coast. Probably did not cook and eat ANY of them. What a colossal waste!
