   According to the story, the fig leaves didn’t really work, and God killed some animals and made them fur coats. So Adam and Eve should be portrayed in something like “caveman” outfits post Eden. The slaughter of the innocent animals was also a foreshadowing of what it would take to get us out of the mess.
