   Divorce is modern polygamy. In ancient times, men married as many women as they could support, but only slept with the current “favorite”. In modern times, men marry as many women as they can support (through alimony), but only sleep with the current favorite. In modern times, we also have deadbeat dads, but I suspect the ancients had those too.
