Free healthcare, a warm cot and 3 meals a day…… you’re doing better than a lot of people on the outside. And the government wonders why people commit crimes.

I certainly wouldn’t want to be in GenPop, as I’m not a big fan of sodomy. But boy, white collar “prison” sure sounds tempting. If you commit a petty crime out of desperation, they’ll throw the book at you. But if you start out well-to-do, get greedy and attempt to abscond with millions of dollars of other people’s money, and fail in that attempt, your punishment is confinement to a white collar prison. I’m sure that such a place is hardly ideal, yet it’s still far better than the daily existence of quite a few law abiding folk. People like Bernie Madoff should be given far worse punishments than those that merely, say, rob a liquor store. Dudes like Bernie deserve to be gang raped repeatedly for the remainder of their days.
