    Classic. Anybody ever notice how much Charles Krauthammer resembles the mobster when he wears the mask in the move The Mask (except for not being green, of course)?

    Ah, 2005, when I couldn’t go three days without reading a left-leaning person ripping on Miers for any stupid thing they could think of, until she withdrew.

    In 2011, I saw a short film telling me that the RIGHT had organized attacks against Miers because they were worried she wasn’t conservative enough, and that she would have been so much better than Alito if only the RIGHT hadn’t chased her out… How soon we forget.

    Grr, Vlad, seems she was a moron. And Scalito was surely no better. Now kick those aholes in the can and let Obama refill the Court in the District. The obstructionist bullshinola is way old,

    @Vlad Taltos

    According to Wikipedia, she did not do well in the Senate Judiciary committee interview, stumbling over basic law questions and being utterly unprepared and clueless on more complex constitutional issue. Apparently her career in law was more administrative than legal, and that became an issue that no one could work with.

    Choosing an incompetent is a bad move whomever does it.

    I didn’t say anything about her actual qualifications. I was commenting on how people always laud the option we DIDN’T get, even if they were opposed to getting said option at the time.

    As in the presidential election of 2008, and again in 2012.
