9/20/2005. Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans 8/29/2005. Aaron McGruder had a reasonably quick turnaround 7 years ago.

    For Jenner and Nichaud’s mother.

    Louisiana 1927, Randy Newman. .

Sounds like his Bechstein instead of that evil Ultimate Marketing Machine he recently signed with.

Ummm @Jus: Are you not aware that all of these strips are recycled? The copyright date between panel 2 and 3 is 2005.

@Robogrip That was his point. He listed the original date of the strip, noting how quick the response was, when most comic strips usually take longer to address current events. I remember in an interview Aaron McGruder said the main reason for the quick turnaround is because he was always behind schedule and never really had enough strips already made in advance. The Boondocks was probably the first to address 9/11 as well.

That is a very quick turn around. Like many who do political cartoons.
