Meet Aaron McGruder’s The Boondocks: Huey and Riley Freeman, Jazmine DuBois, and Huey’s best friend, Caesar. This comic strip reflects the racial diversity and complexity of our world. Combining Huey’s childish antics with contemporary political and social satire, the strip explores the terrain where dashikis and Brand Nubian CDs meet The Gap and Hanson.

who wouldn’t throw a full super-sized cup of mountain dew from the sixth row at world peace?

Boy! Those soft dring companies will do anything, say anything to sell their product! World Peace? You can get World Peace just by drinking Mountain Dew? That’s rather far fetched, isn’t it?

Accountability is un-American! Prosecute and jail the Wall Street scum that wrecked the world economy? Never! Lying, starting false wars, unconstitutional indefinite detention, torture, rendition to countries that torture people to death, illegal wiretapping, domestic surveillance, unconstitutional searches… it’s all good!

Iceland first did the wrong thing in 2008 (same thing here) but then they did the right thing in 2010 (what we should do in the USA) they investigated and prosecuted all those involved in the economic debacle including the highest ranking in their banks. Then they adjusted what was owed to their real cost and made sure no one was left in the lurch.
