Meet Aaron McGruder’s The Boondocks: Huey and Riley Freeman, Jazmine DuBois, and Huey’s best friend, Caesar. This comic strip reflects the racial diversity and complexity of our world. Combining Huey’s childish antics with contemporary political and social satire, the strip explores the terrain where dashikis and Brand Nubian CDs meet The Gap and Hanson.

Given the fact that these comics are from eight years ago, why does anyone even bother to make a comment.

It’s good to look back at what we’ve blocked out.

With our notoriously short memory of current events, it just may be useful to take a peek at the rampant paranoia of a time when we didn’t know who, for example, the Anthrax sender was… (Hint: not Muslim).

Eight years later, these comics are still relevent, very insightful, and still funny

Jazmine need not worry. NORAD Tracks Saint Nick (yes, by focusing on Rudolph’s nose) and give him fighter escorts in US airspace.
For real.

You’d be angry too if you’d moved from Brooklyn out to the ‘docks.
