Meet Aaron McGruder’s The Boondocks: Huey and Riley Freeman, Jazmine DuBois, and Huey’s best friend, Caesar. This comic strip reflects the racial diversity and complexity of our world. Combining Huey’s childish antics with contemporary political and social satire, the strip explores the terrain where dashikis and Brand Nubian CDs meet The Gap and Hanson.

4deer,
Luckily, the Founding Fathers had the forsight to design into our system of government a way to keep the large, populus states from imposing thier will onto the country as a whole.
Plus….It was what…9 years ago!!! Get over it already!!!!

Relax, people - these are all reruns from the Bush years; they are not supposed to be current. Blame GoComics for running them, if you want, or just don’t read them if they upset you. If you like Bush, Condi Rice or BET (Black Entertainment Television) then this is NOT the strip for you - that simple.

There really are a lot of people who don’t understand that this strip is actually 9 years old.

I thought you were being sardonic until I reached the end of your post. You think it’s fortunate that the Founding Fathers were still so immured in the elitism and classism they had inherited from European political philosophy that they couldn’t quite bring themselves to trust the popular vote? Besides, what you’re talking about accounts for the existence of the Senate, not the Electoral College.
As for the issue of my commenting on what may appear to be ancient history (if one has a sufficiently short attention span), I am commenting upon the strip. The strip is a rerun. Get over it, already.
