    the only good excuse for being late for ANYTHING is an accident. I have children that have no concept of what it means to be ON TIME and I personally think it is the height of rudness. I even tell my kids we are going to eat an hour before we really are so they will be on time.

    Been there, lived that.

    Everybody is late now and then. In our area, frequent and changing road construction is the reason; what was open yesterday is closed today. Bad weather,someone’s else accident, etc. A little forgiveness goes a long way. Lots of adults I know are always late too, usually the ones who complain the loudest about others.

    And if chronic lateness is the biggest price I have to pay for having my wonderful kids, I will pay it.

    But if you see you are going to be late then you should call…

    YOU should call, not wait until your mom calls you and then not take phone because you are driving.

    My neighbour calls me sometimes saying she is going to be late to school and could I take her son out instead. :D

    That’s what we eventually did with my brother who was always an hour late. I was tired of eating cold food because he was always late. Finally my mom wised up.

    I don’t understand what happened to Jack Pullan. In 2011 suddenly he stopped putting out new material and for a long time the strip was not even rerun. Then the rerun started … but now, it’s back to square one. What is happening ?
