Boomerangs is a multigenerational family strip featuring Jane Tinker, a recent divorcée and mother of two who suddenly finds herself a member of the new "Boomerang" generation when her financial situation forces her to move back into her parents’ home. Now living with both her daughters and Baby Boomer parents under the same roof, Jane looks to rebuild her life as she and her family adjust to their very crowded nest!

That sounds more like something Jeff would say in “Coupling.”

If I saw them together at the reunion, I would assume they were together

If she goes with Mark she will be having to explain to everyone all night that they are only there as “friends.” That may hurt his feelings since I think he wants to be more.

Does anyone CARE which movie they referenced???
I went to my high school reunion
After 20 years
And all I saw
Was a bunch of old, bald, grey haired people I did not recognize!

“Sleepless in Seattle” would be one - I think there were several between the two…

Meg Ryan made three movies with Nora Ephron… the afore-mentioned Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, and When Harry Met Sally.

Perhaps Eric should have kept the script for herself.

Thanks for the movie info.
I see an old, grey-haired person I don’t recognize in the mirror every morning.
