He has "done time" at an ad agency, a consulting firm, a newspaper and a big, faceless corporation. He did the comic strip "Odds and Ends & Sons" for nearly three years and produced the feature film "Johnny: Nobody Said He Was An Angel". He serves on the adjunct faculty of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
He was awarded a FullToon Fellowship in 2002 by The Washington Post Writers Group for his comic strip "Bo Nanas."
In 1999 he was nominated for a Reuben award from the National Cartoonists Society in the category of Advertising Illustration.
He is also taller than he is wide.
