When I asked my fiancee to marry me, I had an elaborate, contrived plan to take her to a castle near Cincinnati Ohio. We were going to meet at a Starbucks located in a Kroger store and spend the rest of the day together.
I got there before she did and saw a music student playing a violin beside the Starbucks to earn some extra cash for school. Between pieces I arranged for her to play “Canon in D Major” while I popped the question. She didn’t say “yes”… She said, “Absolutely”…
