Welcome to the wonderful world of obsessive compulsive cartoonist Frank Page and his band of misfits. Bob the Squirrel chronicles the life and times of Bob, a squirrel and Frank, the human he's taken in as his own. Other ingredients in this comic strip stew include Frank's girlfriend- the effervescent "foofy coffee chick" Lezley, her daughter Lauren and Maggie, the overly protective pug mix. And to complete the meal, why don't we throw in Frank's dog, a jack russell terrier named Lucy---a dog who loves to climb trees, eat nacho chips and generally be the yang to Bob's ying. There's something for everyone in Bob the Squirrel... so, make a daily stop to see what's going on. You will not be disappointed.

I can never get charcoal even. Usually the coals are perfect after I’ve cooked everything. I guess gas is for those of us without patience, or have three kids that are hungry and letting us know about it.

I don’t know about anyone else – but I don’t read this strip in search of a novel.

A hibachi would be better, no valves and simplicity. The Zen of Hamburgers. Bob narrates a good story and yes, keep up the good work. It might become a novel or just novel instead. ;-)

I love my Weber Performer. It is a charcoal grill that ignites with the push of a button, fired by a small propane cannister. And it has a large work station for placing platters of food.

My dad had five kids who were hungry. We learned to anticipate the goodness that came from the charcoal grill! Of course, you have to fire up the grill long before you ever need it, 20-30 minutes or so.
