If the local police – charged with protecting you and your property – received the 911 call from you concerning your home being attacked by home invaders bent on killing you and your family and then called the police unit that was only a few minutes from your location and told them not to answer the call, would that upset you or would you “understand” and “move on”?
And that isn’t even with the IRS auditing you.

I’d be upset, but its a bad analogy. You cannot equate a local police unit on the ground and in your neighbourhood to a military air unit hours away in another country, requiring in-air refueling, then when they get to the destination, what then? Bomb and strafe their own facility sheltering their own people, probably long after the bad guys have left. Come on Bruce, you’re usually more realistic than that, unless, of course, your judgement gets obscured with partisan talking points.

In the defense of President Obama, I saw NBC News showing Obama making following statements as soon as he found out about the IRS Scandal:
“It was wrong for the IRS to target Conservative Groups.”
Followed up with this statement:
“I will seek possible Criminal Charges for all IRS Agents involved with the targeting of Conservative Groups.”
Hearings are underway, Just heard on my Local Early local News (NBC Affiliate) said an Female IRS Employee from Ohio is scheduled to appear before Congress, they reported her lawyer stated she intends to plead the 5th, which could cause more damage than good.
It will take time, but this is going to wind up being very ugly, and the news outlet to find the connection will be Chuck Todd with NBC News.
