Two things. One: Dhjohar Tsarneav could have been me.
As a nineteen year old (and yes, I was drop dead gorgeous) stoner with an older brother whom I would have followed to the gates of hell and beyond. I could have. I like to think that I wouldn’t have. But then Ralph wouldn’t have either.
It’s not that I forgive Tsarnaev for doing what he did. But I know what the love of/for a brother is.
Secondly… Just a thought from someone who has been doing the wrong thing in the wrong place at times. When you’re doing something wrong, you don’t walk up to a witness and ask him why he’s following you! That should have been Zimmerman’s first clue that he was barking up the wrong tree.
Whenever there was someone who might be able to identify you, you led him on a wild goose chase. Fat George would have been lying on the ground panting for breath in no time. Anybody who knows how to mischief knows how to avoid being caught!
One more thing. George probably left out that he put his hand on Trayvon’s shoulder, or grabbed his shirt so as to make sure Trayvon didn’t get away. He left that out because in his mind it didn’t constitute reason for Trayvon to punch him in the nose, from which George fell backwards onto the concrete, scuffing up his bald head.
What was George going to do? Follow the kid and then hope that the cops found them just standing there with their hands in their pockets? No, he would have told Trayvon to come to his truck where he could be held until the police arrived.
Life is a funny old thing! You walk past people every day that could be you except for the “Grace of God.” I never knew how many of the people I had worked with had records until I started trying to hire them into my firm! Then old arrests for dealing LSD and for possession of Heroin, and burglary and what not. These turned out to be professionals who manage people’s money safely and honorably, but they were worse than Trayvon in their youth.

A crime-ridden gated community…does anyone else find that kind of oxymoronish?

Where did you read this? This is the first time I’ve heard of it and I found myself surprised that they couldn’t (or wouldn’t) let a manslaughter charge stick since the criteria is not as critical.

So Zimmerman knew of Martins tweets? That was never mentioned in court…

Refreshing, Bob. That a druggy thug who should have been counter-sued for assault and trespassing is Obama is clever (and accurate). The media only shows baby Trayvon, not massive, 200-pound nearly 6-foot thug Trayvon.

Once again Gorrell is so far off base he isn’t even in the stadium!

Amazing that apparently not a right-wing poster or cartoonist around here paid any attention to the original 911 calls, or the trial testimony, even that the judge did allow. let alone what she refused the prosecution to use. I loved the way that defense showed how Martin picked up 60 yards of sidewalk to whack Zimmerman on the head. Bringing that slab the size of a cinder block never should have been allowed to be presented as “evidence” of MARTIN assaulting the guy who followed him, hunted him, had a gun, and killed him!

One of the most revolting editorial cartoons I’ve ever seen, made for the racist comments of Mike Cronis, above. The two have no shame, lack basic human decency.

I’d say Gorrell got it pretty right. Those who disagree need to lay off the Lean, or Purple Drank, or Syrup or Sizzurp or whatever you hoodrats are calling your drug cocktail of choice, this week.

    I didn’t read this.
This is conjecture based on the facts as I know them.
Fact: Trayvon punched George in the nose. What do I know from this? George’s nose had to be within an arm’s length of Trayvon’s fist.
Fact: George was accosting a suspect before a crime was committed. Assumption, He was going to do what it took to get this “person of interest” introduced to the police.
Fact: in most cases of an altercation, each side says “He started it” without admitting to any part the player played.
Listen, even if Trayvon were somehow able to testify from the grave, George still would have gotten off, because it would have been “He said/He said” that is not enough to hang a murder conviction on.
But I am free to speculate as to what happened there (and I choose not to believe the GZ version as Gospel Truth). That’s why I used the word “Probably” because it indicates opinion, not fact.

He was Not Stalked as you claim.
    Proof he was not stalked:

The Prosecutor found Zero evidence that Zimmerman Stalked Martin, for if he had, you can bet your last penny he would have used this during the trail hammering it home daily and really hammering it home during closing arguments.

This Statement from the Prosecutor during Closing Arguments proves Zimmerman did not Stalk or Profile Martin.

This is what the Prosecutor said during Closing Arguments:

“This is Not a Race Case”

This proves your claim of Profiling and Stalkin to be 1000% False

All Mr Martin had to do is tell Mr. Zimmerman: "Sir, I’m walking to my dad’s home at this address, and this tragedy never would have occurred.

Yes, this has indeed happened to me. Years ago I was with my dad in Texas. I was on The Service Road by the Interstate. A Texas State Trooper Pulled me over. I asked Dad what I id wrong? He didn’t know why I was being pulled over.

I pulled over, stopped, shut o the engine, lowered the window and handed the Trooper my License, POI and registration matching my Tennessee Tags.

He wanted to know why I was on the Service Road and not the Interstate. I explained I was visiting my Dad, Dad acknowledged, and I told him we were headed to the store. The Trooper wished me a pleasant visit and good day.

Another time I went to KY to buy a Power Ball Ticket for our Group before Tennessee got the Powerball.

At the time they were widing I-65 and traffic was a nightmare. So I decided to take US 31 back to my home. I rolled through a rural city in a rural county and was stopped by The Police. I was slightly over the speed limit. He asked: “Why I was traveling there when I lived near Nashville Tennessee.?” I explained to him about the back up on the Interstate due to the construction, he knew I was telling the truth. He told me where the Speed Limit increased and wished me a safe trip home.

NBC News is being sued for creative editing of the original 9-1-1 call.

Odd how you missed the tape of The Sanford Police asking Mr.Martin the night of the attack: “Is that your son screaming for help?”

Mr. Martin: “No, that is not Trayvon screaming for help?”

When asked why he now claims it is Trayvon’s Voice screaming for help? This was Mr. martin’s response:

“Months after this tragedy sitting in a room listening to the tape repeatedly for hours in a row while preparing for trial, I recognized it was Trayvon.

This was the key factor that led the 6 Moms to acquit Mr. Zimmerman as they knew the father of their child would recognize the voice of their own child screaming for help the split second the heard the scream for help.

They could not present evidence to back up your bogus claim as the Prosecutor was unable to find one shred of evidence to back up your bogus claim, for if it was there they would have used it.

You have zero proof to back up your bogus claim.

If the only difference in this case was Mr. Zimmerman was Black, and Mr. martin Hispanic, you would agree the Acquittal was the correct call as there was zero evidence a Black Man hunted a Hispanic Man with a gun and killed him
