   They don’t ask you who you voted for before they send you Social Security checks or accept Medicare or Medicaid. You don’t need to show an NRA membership card to ride on the turnpike, or an ACLU membership card to get a passport. The military takes anyone who will swear an oath to uphold. That was the message.

   I like to remind people that “Entitlements” like Social Security are financed by taxes (FICA i believe it’s called) and therefor recipients are actually ENTITLED to the money and services they receive.

   Furthermore: Bipartisanship is dead until the GOP comes back to the table. The people had enough. The President had enough. Even I, one ocean over, had enough. It’s not dignified, it’s a disgrace for a former glorious nation!

   Entitlement spending defined on the extreme end of cost: Lockheed-Martin, Boeing, Ratheon, Halliburton, and others getting “defense” and “no bit” contracts, still, thanks to Congress, both sides “looking out for” their “constituents”.

    Not all. Worked for a while for a free legal service and most of their cases were “entitlement hunters” that “suffered” all sorts of ailments to get that government handout. It was one of the most demoralizing experiences in my life.

    …people like them have made it harder for people with legitimate need.
