Oh come on, HE came out pretty well. Speaker Boehner on the other hand… Thirty minutes to the start of the 113th Congress. If they don’t re-elect him I will hit the town and get hammered! I CAN NOT STAND THE MAN! His moves, his face, his voice – he is a poster-boy for the rich and powerful. But probably nothing will happen, same old same old. But a man can dream, right?

The real disgust is that while Congress WAS intended for debate, often vigorous, debate, even the occasional duel, it wasn’t intended to be a constant “Us vs them” combat zone with no cooperation, and undercutting the people of the nation. The latter is what Boehner, McConnell, Cantor, et all have created and fostered. The “TEA party” folks also don’t have a clue what the original “tea party” was about. It wasn’t about the tea tax, it wasn’t about overthrowing OUR elected government, it was about getting out from under the control of a FOREIGN power. Ghandi accomplished the same thing in India, without the war and violence. Too many in America today mis-cite the Second Amendment with the ignorance as well. We need to repel some “boarders”, but it can be done more rationally than we’ve seen in the last two years.

I’m enjoying the GOP civil war. The first casualties are mostly teabaggers that lost re-election. Good riddance.

It’s too bad we can’t shove him off a cliff. The country would be better off.
